2003 Audi A4 Quattro, $2000. Says it needs a new transmission, crack in the catalytic converter, and a new window regulator.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Miles are fairly low on it, and it looks great cosmetically. I don’t know anything about transmissions in these, but it could be a simple fix. If it is, this could be a screaming good deal.

In about 1 month, you would hate yourself for buying it

Not a bad deal, but $1,500 would be more realistic. Parts are very cheap though.

I can’t imagine that it would be worth the parts and labor if you are looking to flip it. but if youre looking for a winter car this could work

This would be a monumentally bad idea.

That’s a B6. fwiw I owned 2 B5s one A4 1.8t and an S4 2.7tt, the 1.8t was a tank and never left me stranded. Only had to do basic maintenance and replaced the clutch. I got it with 60k so i can’t account for how the clutch was treated before me.
OP you could probably find a trans for about $600-700 maybe less.

In the spirit of Craig’s List, offer him to trade for a rusty tricycle and a
slightly
used hamster.

Not sure how to assess this, but for a slightly lower price, provided I had the time and space to get it going and needed a beater with AWD, that’s not a horrible deal. You’ll probably be in it 1000-1500 to get it fully up to snuff and it probably doesn’t have more than 50k of life left.
Check the history. Make sure the drivetrain was properly maintained and if you can have it inspected.

What tranny is in it? If its the early CVT could be more than the car is worth.
